Ephemeral Perception

ArtSouth Gallery - Gore 2010

Opening Night Beverly Claridge standing by In Memory of Turning to Stone

Ephemeral Perception juxtaposes science and faith in reimagining wondrous Hubble images that display light shows set off well before humanity was created. Moreover, ambition, aspirations, and dreams  are explored in a contemporary New Zealand space.

The red thread motif harkens to the Old Testament story of Rahab the prostitute. Indeed, hers is a heroic tale of hope and human redemption.
