Noble People Treasured Land
Anderson Park Home and art Gallery - Invercargill 2006
Noble People Treasured Land, my 2006 by-invitation solo exhibition at the Anderson Park Art Gallery helped celebrate 150 Years of Southland in 2006.
Fresh to the province, I was concerned I didn’t know Southland well enough for the commission. It would seem, looking back twenty years on, the fresh eyes I brought to my new homeland helped record a series of iconic moments of time, many of which are no longer with us.
