Genesis of ‘Can Red Come Out to Play
‘Can Red Come Out to Play?’arose from wanting to continue exploring abstracts in the early days. Unsure of “what” to draw, I opted to play with Inktense within slightly more disciplined confines of a circle, with segments, triangles and other geometric shapes. Originally consisting of three sets, one set now lives in a client’s home.
‘Can Red Come Out to Play’ inspires more.
‘Can Red Come Out to Play?’ served as inspiration for the Red Playground Series, a group of experimental works that occupied much of 2023 and 2024. Click here to read, “How to Analyse your Art” to see the very first of eight derivatives of “Can Red Come Out to Play’.
