Introduction to ‘We Really Must Do That Again’

‘We really must do that again’  is part of my series,  ‘In the Pink’.  It serves as the first part of a conversation with  ‘Let’s Get Together Really Soon‘. The series serves as an impromptu response to a box of leftover pink frames from my closed business.

Materials and Methods for ‘In the Pink’

I wanted  make pieces that would work well with pink.  With multiple layers of Inktense to build depth of colour, I finished it off with Pigment pen lines and a bit of sparkle from metallic leaf.

Things don’t always go as planned

Making the collection started whilst my builder began what we thought would be a simple and straight-forward repair of the floors in the older part of our home. I had to close my studio in order manage the extensive repair of the floors in my home to project manage the extended project.

Kicked off the Metaverse

I decided I would go ahead and launched a Facebook and Instagram campaign,  when a hacker posted nasty stuff on my Facebook, resulting in expulsion from Facebook and Instagram. 

Debut plans for ‘In the Pink’ were halted and I turned my full attention to repairing our home.

Currently, I work on our home nearly every Saturday.   I’m in the studio every week day putting the finishing touches on  52 abstracts from my year-long abstract challenge.  I think it may be time soon to re-introduce this series. I’ll be notifying my email list first  with email-list-only prices when I officially debut the series.  So, join my email list today.
