Wide Open Skies of the Oreti Beach

The Oreti Beach is great for watching the clouds blow in from the Southern Ocean.  .  Flat and long you can easily drive on it to your favourite spot and watch the fronts move in from the Antarctic from the comfort of the car.   It provides today’s challenge inspiration.

We love drives along the Oreti Beach.  It’s considered a street of Invercargill, with traffic rules and, yes, the police will obligingly issue tickets to those who disrupt the enjoyment of the beach for the others, including excessive speeds.

The result from Day 14  is titled “Southland Skies Entrance to Oreti Beach”. The painting is for sale.

I invite you to watch the time-lapse video below.

If you’d like, paint along with me and post an image of your own daily painting on my Facebook page, Beverly Claridge, Artist.

Be sure to add #beverlyclaridge in the comment with your image.
