New Portrait Style-Start to finish – Part 4 of 4

After closing my brick and mortar business, and getting through the pandemic by making Charles Bargue videos for four months, I discovered making those was not something I wanted to pursue. Thus, I continued exploring more possible pursuits, as shown in this post.

This is the final episode of a 4-part journey of creating a special portrait artwork. The series brings you along as I forge a new direction in my arts practice. I meld two styles of work I’ve done in the past two years. 

I’ve been practicing art for well over 30 years and have experienced taking a new direction several times. I have a video and expanded written blog post on how I’ve learned to create art around life.
