Oil-based print ink, crayon, and oil stick produces intense colour saturation whilst intricate texture is achieved by scraping away layers on canvas. Liquid metal leaf introduces a reflective quality alongside complexity and depth.
Playing with oil-based printing ink and liquid gold leaf pen is bolstered by bold and unusual colour combinations and shapes made with coloured pigment pen. Amping up experimentation proves satisfying.
I continue navigating the interplay between tumult and serenity in these works, characterised by bold strokes, a more daring colour palette, and an evocative use of space.
