Here’s Brouhaha
Brouhaha, which can mean, “a complicated situation”, ended up being a joy to behold.
The joy of a complicated situation
The process of repeated printing and manipulation of the canvas created a rather ugly work mid-way. Great!! This gave way to a no-holds-barred treatment. Surprisingly, I’m delighted with the result.
Because the oil-based printing ink didn’t behave, I took license with other elements, including the way I used liquid gold leaf pen and the designs and shapes made with coloured pigment pen. It pairs beautifully with ‘Hubbub’, which can be seen by clicking here.
The joy of Hurly Burly
The ‘Hurly Burly’ collection, of which this is a part, continues to inspire me with even more creative freedom. This work was inspired by Rhema 8, which is sold, but can be seen by clicking here.
