‘Hoo Hah’ – Abstract on Canvas by Beverly Claridge
ABSTRACT ARTWORK ON CANVAS SHEET
‘Hoo Hah’ by Beverly Claridge
Oil-based media on canvas sheet, liquid silver leaf
310 x 230mm or 12.2 x 9.1 inches
Here’s Hoo Hah
‘Hoo Hah’ emanates from an earlier work, ‘Rhema Meditation 2’, which arose from a place of introspection and meditation, where chaos meets tranquility. You can see the entire Rhema Meditation series by clicking here.
About the Hurly Burly Collection
I continue to navigate the interplay between tumult and serenity with the latest Hurly Burly works. The latest collection is characterised by bold strokes, and a more sophisticated colour palette, and an evocative use of space.
Materials Used
Combining oil-based printing ink with reflective silver leaf brings a harmonious contrast, elevating the overall aesthetic of the work.
Making Hoo Hah
Buoyed by playing with bold colours and mark-making for the ‘Moving On’ collection, I’ve amped up experimentation in a more complex and refined manner for ‘Hoo Hah’ and the broader ‘Hurly Burly’ works.
‘Hoo Hah’ serves as a perfect companion piece to ‘Ruckus’.
‘Rhema Meditation 2’ is sold, but can be seen clicking on my blogpost “Come Back Strong in the New Year”
