Introduction to ‘Thank You Darling! You Look Marvellous, Too’

‘Thank You Darling! You Look Marvellous, Too’ is part of my series,  ‘In the Pink’.  I’ve teamed it with, ‘Fuchsia and Coral Totally Suit You!’. The series is the result bit of silliness and lightheartedness combined to fill the six pink frames I discovered from a rummage through some boxes left over from my closed business.

Multiple layers of Inktense  were applied to build depth of colour. Pigment pen adds dynamic interplay, and a bit of sparkle from metallic leaf adds a bit of whimsy.

Challenges and Setbacks

The original debut for  ‘In the Pink’ Series was disrupted when I had to close my studio in order manage the extensive repair of the floors in my home. Despite this slow down I was determined to debut this series and had just launched a campaign when a hacker posted nasty stuff on my Facebook, resulting in expulsion from Facebook and Instagram.  The house is back in order and I’m in the studio right now putting the finishing touches on my year-long plunge into making 52 abstracts in 52 weeks. Reintroducing the Series: A Fresh Start

So, I’ll be reintroducing ‘In the Pink’ soon to celebrate emerging stronger and more determined than ever to persevere and create.
