Surprisingly, I’ve found that screwing up helped my creativity, along with trying to embrace the chaos in my construction-site home.

My art style is changing. Does one simply wake up one morning and steer their art practice in a new direction? I know I didn’t.

Throwing out the rules of art was paramount in my desire to loosen up and have more fun. I pondered what would happen if I intentionally played at making art.

Amazing Invercargill skies can be easily viewed from Tramway Road and Rockdale. I often pull my car off to the shoulder for a good view of the city.

Driving foreshore from Riverton to Oreti Beach in Invercargill was an impromptu delight this past Sunday. What a magical journey.
